Stephen Silver developed a great app with lots of reference-pictures of different human poses.
It's great for practicing caracter design etc...

Here are a few examples of quick hand-study's.
Hands can have so many interesting different shapes wich makes it a lot of fun to draw...and good practise :)
I try to do more hand-sketches from photo's because I have to draw a lot of hands in my caricature-art.
